Graffuturism: [Group Show]

20 April - 18 May 2013
Overview
In April 2013, the Chenus Longhi gallery initiates in partnership with the American artist Poesia, founder and theorist of the Graffuturism movement, a dedicated exhibition cycle. During four weeks, the gallery proposes an evolving display giving to see more than 150 works of 20 international artists.

Under the banner of Graffuturism, the work of artists all coming from graffiti but using different techniques and mediums is sensitively designated. Since 2010, several events have taken place between Glasgow, London, Miami and Los Angeles. In a historical perspective and in a didactic format, the gallery wished to deepen the richness of this movement, and thereby show a selection of artists rarely or never shown in France: Poesia (US), Remi Rough (GB), Sambre (FR), Sat One (DE), Sirius 156 (FR), Sowat (FR), Swiz (FR), Tanc (FR), Thomas Canto (FR), Tomek (FR), WXYZ (FR), Clemens Behr (DE), Erosie (NL), Gilbert1 (FR), Graphic Surgery (NL), Hense (US), Jaybo Monk (FR), Nawer (PL), Nelio (FR) and Pener (PL).
