Overview
The urban art market, a movement with a rich 60-year history, has now reached a certain maturity. We can see works from the 80s and 90s returning to the market, and a fringe of collectors refocusing their choices on this so-called historic period. Certain artists, such as Invader, JR, Shepard Fairey or Futura, are reaching iconic status thanks to spectacular exhibitions or events that are helping to raise their prices to unprecedented levels.

In 2018, the CHENUS LONGHI gallery (formerly Openspace) is making history by creating (RE)COLLECTIONS, its secondary market department under whose aegis it organizes exhibitions bringing together works from private collections and offers a year-round private sale service.

We are delighted to invite you to the opening reception of URBAN MASTERS on Friday April 26, 2024, with a cocktail in hand. This exceptional exhibition features a carefully selected selection of works for sale, from the 1980s to the present day. If the names of the artists on the back of this invitation appeal to you, the sight of their works on display in our beautiful Parisian space will delight you. We're giving you the chance to see remarkable, historic works of art, and to enjoy an extraordinary experience.
