Madame: Random Family

12 September - 10 October 2020
Overview

The exhibition invites the viewer to a sort of initiatory journey from the public to the intimate side of each of us. It's an inner voyage and everyone can draw parallels with one's own story. — Madame

The exhibition Random Family unveils Madame's full potential as a plastic artist through a selection of more than 70 works which technical mastery and poetical language have become her trademark. The Paris-based artist spent several months bargain-hunting to collect vintage photos and a miscellanea of materials and give shape to her vision of family. The exhibition invites the viewer to a sort of initiatory journey from the public to the intimate side of each of us. It's an inner voyage and everyone can draw parallels with one's own story. As Madame abundantly draws on contemporary theater, a narrative and interactive scenography guides the viewer through the three rooms of the gallery. This exhibition is full of surprises and undoubtedly the artist's most ambitious up to this day.
