Miss Van: 2013-2018 [Rétrospective]

Given the vastness of Miss Van's work, it seemed impossible for us to start our collaboration with something other than a retrospective exhibition. The urban contemporary art movement being nearly half a century old, it is time to look back on the career of some artists who already impacted its history, as Miss Van did. By gathering a selection of artworks from 2003 to 2018, Nicolas Chenus and Samantha Longhi wanted to show their commitment and support to the artist: a way to mark the occasion and give an overview of 15 years of career. Organized around Miss Van's main series (Atame, Bailarinas, Princesas, Twinkle, Still a Little Magic...) featured in the various spaces of the gallery, the exhibition will give visitors the opportunity to (re)discover her rich and extremely sensual body of work.

On the occasion of this exhibition, Critères Editions publish a monographic book in the Opus Délits collection.
