Lille Art Up 2023, overview
From March 9 to 12, 2023, we took part for the first time to the Lille Art Up fair with two solo shows by artists Dan Rawlings and Guillaume Lemarquier [Mist]. We wanted to meet the public of Lille city and the Hauts-de-France region, which we are very fond of, in order to show the work of these two talents. The first one is English and produces hand-cut metal works, the second one, coming from graffiti, develops a painting work tending towards abstraction and resting on a perfect balance of forms and colors, all in musicality.

We spent 8 days on site with a very dense work rhythm and a public each day more numerous. Lille Art Up is a fair of 4 days of opening to the public, to which is added a day of preview and vernissage and a day of installation. We are therefore exhausted at the end of this fair, but happy with the experience.

Our artists Mist and Dan Rawlings were with us the whole time (or almost), and had a great time talking about their work. As did we! Indeed, we had only very good feedback! on our booth with the blue carpet (we were easy to find in the Grand Palais among its 100 and some galleries), as well as on the scenography and the quality of the works presented. We even had the chance to discuss Dan Rawlings' poetic and political work with the mayor of Lille, Martine Aubry, who had a real crush on the artist's work during the opening.

In short, we wanted to extend our network of collectors in the region, and it's done! And as we didn't have enough time to take advantage of Lille's richness (in no particular order: Meerts,  Welsch, the museum of fine arts, space invaders...), we will come back next year!
