After a year-long absence due to covid, Urban Art Fair returns in 2021. Chenus Longhi Gallery, excited to show the work that artists have made during this period, presents a group show as well as an exceptional solo show by female artist Rouge Hartley.
This first solo show with the gallery, What Dreamers Sense, is inspired by Mona Chollet's text, The Tyranny of Reality, and was conceived as the stage for an intimate theater, revealing a tension between inside and outside (of the body, the home, the city). This set of about fifteen works on canvas, wood and paper proposes in an underlying way a reflection on painting and our relationship to reality and the imaginary.
