Overview
To open the season, Galerie CHENUS LONGHI shines a spotlight on its secondary market department with a new and ambitious exhibition entirely dedicated to (RE)COLLECTIONS.
Since its launch in 2018, (RE)COLLECTIONS has brought together significant works from private collections — artworks once chosen, loved, passed on, now ready to begin a new chapter.
Beyond their provenance, we present these works with a curatorial eye, selecting them for their quality, rarity, or place in the recent history of street art and graffiti.
This new edition includes a focused selection of American graffiti pioneers such as Futura, Crash, Daze, Dondi White, Lady Pink, Seen, and NOC167. On the street art side, we feature essential names like C215, L’Atlas, Invader, Inti, Speedy Graphito, and Shepard Fairey, alongside more sought-after and distinctive voices such as Doze Green, Boris Tellegen, Robert Proch, and Bault.
This exhibition is also a reaffirmation of our deep connection to the history of graffiti and street art — Nicolas Chenus having been active in the field since the 1990s, and Samantha Longhi since the 2000s. Their combined perspectives are at the core of the richness and coherence of every annual (RE)COLLECTIONS selection.
In September 2025, as collectors refine their focus and the secondary market becomes a strategic space, this new edition of (RE)COLLECTIONS highlights works with strong potential — both artistically and economically. The exhibition is designed for passionate collectors as well as discerning investors following the market’s evolution.
To revisit, reframe, and pass on — with (RE)COLLECTIONS, art circulates and reinvents itself.
