Antonin Katre: En Perspective(s)
Forthcoming exhibition
Overview
On the occasion of the release of his very first monograph From Urbex to Post-Graffiti, published by El Viso, Galerie Chenus Longhi presents a solo exhibition dedicated to artist Antonin Katre, bringing together a selection of key works that reflect his most emblematic explorations.
Urban exploration photographs, bold lettering, and compositions on industrial materials—this exhibition traces the major threads of Katre’s practice, at the intersection of graffiti, architectural memory, and contemporary abstraction.
It sheds light on the recent evolutions in his work, while also paying tribute to the artistic foundations deeply rooted in urbex and graffiti lettering. Conceived as a visual journey through his universe, the exhibition will conclude on Saturday, May 17 with an exclusive pre-release launch of the monograph, in the presence of the artist.
