Dan Rawlings: Asunder
The exhibition Asunder, created for the Lille Art Up fair, brings together some twenty new works by Dan Rawlings in which nature takes over from the oil and gas giants. At a time when gas prices are soaring and nuclear power plants are failing, Dan Rawlings' work questions our future. The title "Asuner", an old-fashioned word, evokes the way in which the population is divided by the ecological question but also denounces the way in which these multinationals leave a planet in pieces after having emptied its resources and filled its coffers.
