Guillaume Lemarquier [Mist]: Duality

The exhibition Duality shows at the Lille Art Up fair a set of paintings on canvas by Guillaume Lemarquier. Today, two  series emerge from his work. The first is marked by a dynamic tension between figuration and abstraction. He rethinks his work through the prism of time and her previous series, in order to compose a new one based on the defragmentation of forms.  The second series is in the continuity of his abstract painting. In the manner of a stained glass window, the image perceived in elementary forms with bright colors surrounded by an outline is composed thanks to the dance of underlying letters, indirectly evoking the heritage of graffiti. With a choice of gradient and fluorescent colors, the viewer is projected into the vision of a Californian landscape.
