Jérôme Masi French, b. 1977

Jérôme Masi resides and works in Annecy. A 2001 graduate of the École Emile Cohl in Lyon, Jérôme Masi pursued a successful career as a graphic designer and art director before becoming a freelance illustrator and undertaking numerous stimulating artistic projects with major brands. In parallel, he has always developed his studio practice, which has now been gaining significant momentum in the art market over the past few years.

Jérôme Masi’s work is characterized by a minimalism of forms that guides us toward the essential. Through his unique perspective, he invites us to a collective reflection on the times to come. The silhouettes of his "kids" and his work as a whole exude a singular poetry, built around a balance between form and color, sometimes verging on abstraction. With a reduced color palette and refined shapes, the artist creates a body of work of remarkable intensity.

Jérôme Masi is part of this vibrant artistic scene of artists emerging from illustration, whose polymorphic work knows no boundaries. Following his first solo show at StolenSpace in December 2024, Galerie CHENUS LONGHI is delighted to present his work for the first time in early 2025.
