Dans la tête de... Nicolas Barrome Forgues inaugurates a new series of projects imagined by CHENUS LONGHI and inspired by Keith Haring's Pop Shop model. On a regular basis, our boutique-bookshop will invite a multi-disciplinary artist to occupy its tables and shelves with original art objects imagined and made especially for the occasion. Open and accessible to all, our pop shops might just enable you to start an art collection without even realizing it!
An illustrator by training and profession, Nicolas Barrome Forgues has always given himself the freedom to explore new fields of creation in parallel, from engraving and etching to stained glass and 3D printing. His thirst for learning and his hypercreativity soon led him to become a fully-fledged, multidisciplinary artist with a unique and identifiable universe. Nicolas Barrome Forgues is equally influenced by pop culture and classical painting. With a palette of saturated colors, he brings a melancholy joy to his work, celebrating the living world and food in particular, in abundant and often droll collective scenes, populated by a galaxy of characters like Francis, the bacon slice. For this pop shop, CHENUS LONGHI presents to the public a wide range of art objects, limited editions and original works: resin sculptures, prints, original drawings, paintings on canvas, vases, marble objects, carpets and more. A protean universe where anything is possible, where there are no longer any boundaries between art and life.
